Practice Manager

Dee has been in the veterinary field for nearly 25 years. She started working at the clinic in 2016 as a Veterinary Assistant and has continually grown into management positions such as Technician Manager and, recently, Practice Manager. Dee graduated from the Community College of Southern Nevada with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and is studying to pass her VTNE to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Dee joined the veterinary field because she was raised in an agricultural community and developed a love for all animals, big and small. Dee is passionate about patient care and advocacy. She loves all animals but has a special interest in exotics. Dee’s advice to pet owners is to remember that pets are a luxury, not a necessity.

Christina

Client Services Manager

Christina’s friendly face is one of the first faces you will see when entering our clinic. She has been with us since May 2020, and it is definitely a new field for her. She wears many hats in the office, but managing our client care representatives is her main job. Christina is a great asset to our team, and we are pleased to say she is celebrating her two-year anniversary with Elko Veterinary Clinic this month. She joined our team to get into the medical field and has since fallen in love. When she’s not at work, you can find her being her son’s cheerleader and coach in the many sports he does play. Her biggest recommendation for new pet owners would be to look into pet insurance

She joined Elko Veterinary Clinic in 2016 and has been our main surgery technician since. She loves movies, all things comics, crafting, drawing, reading, and gardening. Shelby joined the veterinary field because she loves animals, obviously, but also because she never had any other occupation in mind since she was little. She always gravitated towards animals and veterinary classes going through school and is very passionate about their care. She has two dogs, a lab mix and a Dalmatian, and three cats, one of which is a blind rescue from our clinic. She also loves exotics, especially Beaded Dragons.

Lexi is a kind, friendly face you’ll see when entering Elko Veterinary Clinic. Lexi is one of our Client Care Representatives and has been with our clinic since June 2021. The thing Lexi loves most about her job is that she is able to not only help the client but also be an advocate for the patient as well. Kennel Staff

Kiawnni
Kiawnni

Kennel Technician – Team Lead

Kiawnni is a face you won’t see very often. Kiawnni’s main job in our clinic is our Lead Kennel Tech. She has several duties, but they boil down to making sure the patients’ kennels are kept in a good, clean condition and that they are regularly walked and fed (even when it comes to specific dietary restrictions). Each patient has their own routine and certain restrictions, and it’s Kiawnni’s job to ensure it is all accommodated. Kiawnni has been with the clinic since 2017, when she is not at work she is usually spending time with family and her dog Bowser. Kiawnni’s advice for pet owners is to always try to socialize your pets! Though all breeds/species have a harder and different time adapting, nobody benefits from an antisocial animal!
