Jessica grew up on a family cattle ranch north of Elko. The ranching life fostered her love for all animals especially horses and cattle. This lead to her pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She then continued her education by earning an associates in Veterinary Technology at the College of Southern Idaho where she used Elko Vet Clinic as her externship experience. Once she finished the program she took a job at Idaho Equine. She recently got homesick and moved back to Elko and joined the clinic again in March of 2020. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to help those who can't tell you what's wrong. Jessica’s advice for pet owners is to make sure you have a way to transport your pets big or small!
