Shelby is an Elko Native that, after graduation, went to UNR and obtained a Bachelors in Veterinary Science and obtained her Licensed Veterinary Technician in Training certification in 2017. She joined Elko Vet Clinic in 2016 and has been our main surgery technician since. She loves movies, all things comics, crafting, drawing, reading, and gardening. Shelby joined the veterinary field because she loves animals, obviously, but also because she never had any other occupation in mind since she was little. She always gravitated towards animals and veterinary classes going through school and is very passionate about their care. She has two dogs, lab mix and Dalmatian, and 3 cats, one of which is a blind rescue from our clinic. She also loves exotics especially Beaded Dragons.
