Andrea’s lifelong love for animals led to her pursuit of a career working with them. She has been working in the field of veterinary medicine for 6 years since graduating from Pima Medical Institute (PMI) as a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2018. She is passionate about surgical preparation, monitoring, and assisting, as well as diagnostics. Andrea enjoys handling exotics and small and large animals. Her advice to owners is to be patient with your veterinary staff; they are working diligently to provide your pet with the best care possible. Ask questions so you leave feeling confident about your pet’s treatment, diagnosis, follow-up, and all other aspects of the care your pet has and will receive.
Andrea enjoys the outdoors, particularly during warm weather. She also likes to spend time with her family and pets, as well as painting and drawing.
