Averie has been working in the field of veterinary medicine for 6 years. She started working at Elko Veterinary Clinic as a kennel technician and veterinary assistant while going to school at the College of Southern Idaho’s (CSI) Veterinary Technology Program to obtain her license. Averie obtained her license in 2021 and has been working as a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) since then. She is most interested in emergency/trauma care and surgical preparation, monitoring, and assisting. Averie is passionate about advocating for animals that cannot advocate for themselves. Her advice to owners is to properly vaccinate your puppies and kittens to set them up for a healthy future.
Outside of work, Averie enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, hunting, and photography.
