Deanna has 26 years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine. She was raised around a variety of animals, small and large, and raised her daughter similarly. Deanna attended the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) as an animal science major before switching paces and enrolling in the College of Southern Nevada’s (CSN) Veterinary Nursing Program, where she obtained her associate's degree. Over the years, Deanna has continued to obtain numerous Continued Education (CE) credits in numerous veterinary medicine topics. She is passionate about being a voice for animals since they cannot speak for themselves, as well as doing everything in her power to make sure pets make a full recovery so they can go home to their family. Deanna’s advice to owners is to make yearly wellness exams for all your pets. This aids in keeping them as healthy as possible and in early disease detection. She also recommends learning to recognize the signs and symptoms of pain in pets, as they tend to be stoic and do not display pain in an obvious manner.
Deanna enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, team roping, and spending time with family and friends. She is always looking to learn something new or have a new adventure.
