Mercedes has been working in veterinary medicine since 2019. She enjoys the fast-paced, ever-changing work environment that this career field offers. Mercedes received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Great Basin College. She is most interested in preventative care and client education. Mercedes enjoys working with our feline, or cat, patients the best. Her advice to owners is to look into pet insurance or a dedicated savings account due to the rising cost of veterinary care in the case of an emergency.
Outside of work, Mercedes enjoys reading, kayaking, and spending time with her cat, Tabitha.
